For this bathroom renovation, we worked with a previous client, a successful small business owner, who had a clear vision for her family’s space. The project allowed us to vault the ceiling while installing a skylight, adding natural light and height to the room—something the clients hadn’t initially expected but were thrilled with.
The homeowners also requested custom inset shelving, and we were able to accommodate this by moving the wall back into a deep closet behind the bathroom. This feature added convenient storage while enhancing the overall design.
Our responsibilities included reframing and re-sheeting the entire bathroom, ensuring that the alcoves were carefully aligned so that the tiles would meet the homeowners’ design specifications. We replaced the rotted subfloor around the toilet, reinforcing the space before installing new flooring.
The installation of a floating vanity provided the homeowners with extra legroom and a modern, streamlined look. Before starting the project, the clients had elected to paint the bathroom themselves; leaving us in charge of getting everything demolished and then rebuilt framing through finishing were completed. The result is a bright, open space that perfectly combines functionality and the clean, contemporary style they desired.
